Although we believe the project has a representative of the overall line of James' parents, there is one leap of faith in the identification, given the assumed link (Archibald, married to Janet Scott) died pre civil registration. Therefore a participant to confirm the lineage is still required.
The project would therefore love to hear from a male FAIRBAIRN descendant of James and Joan willing to help us by joining the project to provide confirmation of the dna fingerprint of father Archbald's line.
