Lineage one contains two representatives of a line believed to share a common ancestor in the Joseph of Bere Ferrers Devon, married to Hannah. A plausible paper trail had been constructed, indicating that Joseph was their likely shared ancestor.
At the very least the dna project has shown that it is highly likely that the Joseph ROWE who married Elizabeth CROSS, and the Matthias married to Sarah DUNKIN are siblings.
Family Tree DNA's Time predictor shows the Time to Most Recent Common Ancestor (TMRCA) probabilities for a 67/67 match as: 89% within 4 generations, 96% within 6, 98.9% within 8, reality shows Joseph, the shared ancestor, is the 6th generation from both participants.

It is assumed that those markers differing from the mode and occurring only on one line, are indicative of that particular lineage.
However for this lineage we only have two participants (more welcome!), who match perfectly at 67 markers, so have no "defining markers" until there are other matching participants to compare with.
