| Recruit (Wanted) | The project would like to recruit a representative of this line. James, and John are (probably related) Fairbairn Nurserymen of Clapham, Oxford and ?. It is hoped that a representative, or two, from these lines might help pinpoint where in Scotland (although it is believed that Thomas' line has "daughtered out". |
| Recruit (Relationship2Prove) | The project would like to recruit a representative of Robert William's line to prove a relationship with James Fairbairn ** Robert William is highly likely to be the son of Robert & Sarah (Wadham) Fairbairn. Proof however is lacking, so a match between a descendant of Robert William and one from another of James' sons would be good. |
