This page contains only a subset of the overall ROWE Surname DNA Project, ie those with UK pedigrees, particularly Devon, or have a dna "match" to those that do. ("match" is very loosely defined, and may well be outwith genealogically proveable timeframes). .
Those with proven connections to Devon may also be interested in joining the geographical Devon DNA Project.

Note, that you MUST have a documented pedigree originating in Devon to be accepted into the project.

Discussion - UK results

Two of these lineages are only represented by a single kit.
For an accurate dna signature for the line/paper trail it is highly recommended that another distant cousin is recruited where possible.

Broadclyst:
At 67 markers, closest matches are GD5 (as at Feb 2016), none have a ROW(E) surname.
Durham:
This early UK lineage (Edward d. 1666) has no matches, even down to 12 markers.
Bere Ferrers:
Exact match between papertrail 4th cousins, next nearest match an ELLIS, at GD4
