Robert Fairbairn

(say 1784 - )
FatherRobert Fairbairn ** (cir. Dec 1751 - Nov 1849)
WebIntroRobert is the earliest proven ancestor of both Joe (F-10) and Ron (F-19).
What the project hopes to prove is the story in Joe's grandfather's obituary that he, Albert, was a "cousin" to John A Fairbairn of Hoquiam, even if we are unlikely to ever find out how this may be so.

BirthRobert Fairbairn was born say 1784.
MarriageHe married Elizabeth Taylor 2 Jun 1811 Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England
Y-DNA DetailMarker 460 = 11 is assumed to signify this line of Robert & Elizabeth (TAYLOR), as both papertrail representatives show this value.
They have been joined by two other good matches (Alexander (F-41) from the John & Elizabeth (YULE) FAIRBAIRN line, and RJ (F-44) from the line of John & Helen (ATCHESON) FAIRBAIRN.
The member of lineage 1e with this value is assumed to be a coincidence, but it is interesting to note that he is a descendant of another side of the "Hoquiam Triangle", William(F-12).
However he is not their closest match.
